Information regarding visitor activity on my website helps me create more user-friendly interactions for all site visitors. It also gives me insights into visitor trends which I can use as market research and help give my visitors a more satisfying online experience. Lastly it allows me to connect with my readers via my newsletter so I can keep them up-to-date regarding new releases, cover reveals and giveaways.

What information is collected and how:

This website uses a combination of cookies, analytics programs such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and Amazon affiliate links to gather non-personal data and track visitor interactions with this site. Non-personal data cannot be used to identify individual visitors, and cookies help make your user experience better by saving your preferences and providing anonymous data to analytics programs, however you can turn cookies off in your browser settings should you wish to do so. Google Analytics (GA4) also uses IP Anonymisation to ensure visitor security.

The only personal information I receive is the information visitors provide themselves when they sign up for my newsletter, essentially their name and email address. If a visitor subscribes to my newsletter and then changes their mind, they can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter, or they can contact me directly via my contact form and I will remove them from the mailing list.

This website is hosted by Wix.com and all information gathered, both personal and statistical, is stored on Wix.com's secure servers and protected by firewalls. This site has no control over third party sites and is not responsible for the security of any information outside of jenniekew.com.

I will not disclose a visitor's personal information with any third party except in the instance where I have a legal obligation to do so, with or without the visitor's notice. Visitor's can also contact me to request a copy of their information at any time, or request the removal of their information from Wix.com's servers at any time.
